TestDaF – Test Deutsch als Fremsprache
TestDaF is an internationally acknowledged and globally standardised language examination of the TestDaF-Institute, examining language proficiency on the levels B2/C1 (according to the CEFR).
The test addresses learners who are already well grounded in the German language and who would like to have an official proof thereof, as well as applicants for a place at university in Germany requiring relevant evidence with respect to their language proficiency.
TestDaF consists of these 4 parts: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression as well as oral expression. In all four examination elements the test results will be allocated to one of the following three levels: TestDaF-Level 3 (TDN 3), TestDaF-Level 4 (TDN 4), TestDaF-Level 5 (TDN 5).
The TestDaF-Certificate is acknowledged by all universities in Germany. In order to be allowed to take part in university courses, applicants need to achieve a minimum of TestDaF-Level 4 in every examination element.
For booking a TestDaF preparation course you will be transferred to the webpage of IIK Düsseldorf (http://www.iik-duesseldorf.de) , where our central administration is located. There you can proceed with the payment by credit card or through your bank account.
