A plus of qualification
– German courses with a certificate

Before being able to enroll in a university course in Germany, applicants who have not gained their higher education entrance qualification at a German speaking institution have to prove they are sufficiently proficient in German for such a course.

The regulations about the command of German are found in the HRG »Regelungen im Hochschulrahmengesetz« and in the statutes of each federal state of the Federal Republic of Germany.
There are two different kinds of certificates that allow foreigners to study at a German university, the so called DSH: »Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang« and the TestDaF»Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache«.

Participants who have attended their 4-weeks´ course regularly have the opportunity to take part in a test that leads to a qualified certificate at the end of the course.
